A new memorial award has been created in the name of a well-known local builder to assist carpentry, plumbing and electrical students in pursuit of their Trades education.

Camosun will use the funding to empower more women and Indigenous people in trades through bursaries and scholarships and to increase both the overall number of skilled graduates and the diversity of B.C.’s skilled workforce.

The Health Champions are the official cheerleaders of the Together for Health campaign. They play an important role in connecting the college with supportive communities and cultivating relationships with potential donors.
